The above mentioned analysis shall enable the PFSA-UKNF experts, engaged in the project, getting better familiarized with the actual status of the insurance market in the Republic of Azerbaijan, and thus identification of potential problematic areas, which require carrying out activities aimed at indication of proposed solutions for the supervisory. | March - June 2011 |
| Expert consultations with the representatives of the Azerbaijani supervision authority (on-line). | Expert consultations with the representatives of supervision authority of Azerbaijan, as a result of which a draft of thematic scope of proposed training missions in Azerbaijan (Baku) will be developed. | April - June 2011 |
| Training mission no 1 in the Republic of Azerbaijan carried out by the representatives of the PFSA-UKNF Customer Protection Department. | Training mission in Azerbaijan aimed at presentation of the EU legislation and Polish regulations implementing EU directives in the field of consumer protection. As a result of the training the participants will become acquainted in detail with the EU and Polish regulations in regard to consumer situation. In the course of training implementation, the participants will get familiarized with the solutions implemented in Poland, taking into consideration the problems appeared on that market along with presentation of developed solutions.

| Training mission no 2 in the Republic of Azerbaijan carried out by the representatives of the PFSA-UKNF Customer Protection Department. | As a result of carried out training, the representatives of the supervision authority will get familiarized with the concrete solutions elaborated in Poland, which are used by the consumers of insurance services.

| Study visit of the representatives of the supervision authority of Azerbaijan in Warsaw. | The representatives of the supervision authority of Azerbaijan who are directly involved in the field of issues regarding insurance market supervision, will participate in the study visit. As a result of the study visit, the representatives of the supervision authority will get familiarized with the preliminary solutions regarding the protection of consumers of the insurance services, which could be implemented on the Azerbaijani insurance market.
The components of the study visit: The workshop meetings aimed on summary of the analysis results and findings elaborated in the course of cooperation with the Azerbaijani counterparts within carried out analysis and training seminars, as well as presentation of the preliminary recommendations on direction of changes in the legal framework (legislation) regarding protection of consumers of the insurance services. | 12 - 14 September 2011 |
